Where to Purchase Supplies

Before you Begin Preparation

  • Please carefully inspect all items before bringing them to the sale. Accepted items cannot be: stained; soiled; faded; torn; have holes; be missing buttons, clasps or snaps; have broken or separating zippers; animal hair; or unpleasant odors.
  • Freshly launder all garments and iron or use a wrinkle release spray. Ironing your items will draw more interest and make the item more desirable. Button all buttons, snap all snaps, tie all bows and zip all zippers.
  • Items must be in good working order and complete with no missing parts and free from wear and tear, as well as extensive sun damage and fading.

Hanging Clothing Items

  • We prefer that you use wire hangers, but we will accept plastic if you already have them handy.
  • Hang with the hook pointing to the left (like a question mark), and the tag placed on the right shoulder.
  • Clothing should be seasonally appropriate for the sale and styles need to be current.
  • Pin sets securely together by hanging the shirt first, then turn the hanger over and pin the pants by the waist to the backside of the hanger, with the pin catching the hanger to support the pants.
  • Pants alone should be hung at the waist at the top of the hanger. This prevents them from sliding.
  • Sets may be grouped on one (1) hanger only. (See example.)
  • Use only one inch or larger SAFETY PINS. No straight pins please, we don’t want anyone getting poked.
  • No adult clothes (unless maternity) please!
  • $1.00 or more for hanging items.
Sizing

When sizing do not use “S”, “M”, “L”, please estimate the numerical size (ie M = Size 5)if Jr.size use (Size 5 JR ) . Juniors sizes are 0,3,5,7,9,11,13,15. Even sizes 2,4,6,8, etc. are women sizes and will not be accepted.

Shoes

Moms are very picky about the shoes they buy for their children.  Make sure they are gently used or like new condition.  Shoes must be clean on top and bottom with no major signs of wear and have no scuffing. They must also be odor free.
Shoes should be tied in pairs by shoelaces or a safety pin through the eyes of the shoes attaching the card to the pins. Zip ties also work great for securing shoes together.  Shoes sell better when parents can see and touch them, so try not to box or bag unless necessary.

Toys/Children Furniture/Equipment

These items must be in working order (batteries included) and clean. Small parts should be bagged in a clear Ziploc bag with the card attached to main part very securely with clear packing tape. Secure bags closed with tape to keep “little hands” from getting in. Bedding should be bagged.

All baby gear and furniture must be fully assembled at drop-off.

Baby Carriers & Slings

Safety pin these items to a hanger, with the hook facing left to look like a “?”, to ensure they do not fall on the floor. Then securely pin the tag to the upper right hand side (when looking a it).

Car Seats

We accept car seats less than 5 years old. For safety reasons we cannot accept unless manufacture date is on seat and you are the original owner.  Consignor is required to check  the recall list provided for you on our website for all items brought to the G3 sale.

Loose Articles

Bibs, bowls, etc., should be in clear Ziploc-type bags with the tag attached to the outside of the bag. Secure bags closed with tape to keep “little hands” from getting in.

  3. Follow the instructions below for attaching your tags to your items.

How to Put Tags on Items

The Most important Rule when tagging your items is to make sure the tag is SECURE. Be advised that if tags become separated from an item and is not able to be located in the system we are not able to sell the item since the consignor cannot be properly compensated. This is why we encourage all items to be securely tagged as well as properly described.

DO NOT TAPE OVER BARCODES. Even though packing tape is clear, it interferes with the scanners used at checkout. Make sure your barcodes are crisp and that you can see white in between the black lines.

Attaching your tags to Clothing

Use safety pins to tag all clothing items. Be mindful when tagging children’s clothing it is often thin fabric and securely tagging can easily make holes in the garment. When tagging with safety pins please tag along a collar seam. Also it is best to use the smallest size safety pins possible. When using a tagging gun, tag through the size/brand tag, or in a thicker seam.

  • Clothing items sold with coordinating accessories like socks, tights, belts, hats, hair accessories etc. are best placed in a Ziploc bag. Secure the bag with packing tape and pin to the front left of the hanger.  These items should only have 1 tag.
  • Attach the tag on the right side (as you are looking at it) of the clothing (over the heart). (See Photo below)

Large Items

If you are bringing large items please do not attach the tag too securely. We will need to remove that tag and affix it to another tag for holding and item security purposes. Large items would include furniture, pack n plays, strollers, swings, high chairs, large toys, etc.
